This is a 24 hour crisis line for Simcoe/Muskoka offered via C.M.H.A. It’s free and confidential. Part of this service includes a mobile response available in Barrie from 11 am to 11 pm. A similar service for children and adolescents 16 years and under can be arranged through Canadian Mental Health Association Crisis Services and will be provided by Kinark Child and Family Services. Also, part of the CMHA crisis service includes a residence located not far from RVH for up to 5 individuals. These are for brief stays, available to people 16 years of age or older. Follow up support is available.
